How do I lock the MyKey 2300?
The MyKey 2300 locking method is a one-touch feature. Simply close your door, and press the single button on the face of the MyKey 2300 when the keypad is in the closed position. You will hear the lock mechanism rotate the deadbolt into place, and your home, office, or storage facility is in safe keeping. It's almost ironic how simple it is to engage such a secure lock.

In addition, the MyKey 2300 also has an optional auto-lock feature: it will automatically lock itself when the door is closed for 3 seconds or more. This way, you don't even need to worry about remembering to lock your doors again- and the sensor on the MyKey 2300 will only attempt to lock the deadbolt when the door is shut, not when it is open or swinging closed.
